Tactical Medicine and RescueTactical Medic Course (5 Days) This course will expand on the knowledge of emergency medical care within the hostile tactical environment with emphasis on trauma management and tactical skill sets within this high stress environment. Topics included; CQB, integration of TEMS into tactical operations, medical equipment, gear selection and medical pre-planning, use of cover and concealment for medical treatment, considerations for team wellness, medical considerations of distraction devices and chemical munitions, medical considerations of less-lethal munitions, officer-down medical treatment and rescue techniques and treatment in adverse conditions will be demonstrated during reality based training scenarios. |
